Davao Light and Power Company

It was a productive day for the members of various cooperatives in Davao City last August 7. Aboitiz Foundation in partnership with Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. and Therma South Inc. held a training-workshop on Liquid Dish-washing Soap and Fabric Conditioner Making. Members from Sunshine Farmers & Community Multi-Purpose Coop, ADAP (Association of Differently-Abled People) Multi-Purpose Cooperative and Davao Ecoland Small Entrepreneurs Multipurpose Cooperative successfully made their dish-washing soaps and fabric conditioner with the help of the Department of Science and Technology of Region XI. The Aboitiz Foundation together with Davao Light and Therma South target to have more capacity building programs to help communities start their own small businesses, hence, driving change for a better world.
