Davao Light and Power Co., Inc received a Plaque of Recognition last March 8, 2017 during the 12th Founding Anniversary of the TESDA Region XI. This was held at the TESDA Regional Training Center (RTC) - Korea-Philippines (KorPhil) Vocational Training Center in Tibungco, Davao City.
The Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP) in partnership with Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. turned over 86 Panasonic Solar Lanterns to the Department of Education XI last March 9, 2017 for the five off-grid public schools.
Davao Light being active in helping the education sector, was tapped by PBSP to be a partner in the beneficiary identification and distribution of the solar lanterns which were donated by Panasonic.
Davao Light and Power Co.'s frontline services will be available to serve the public on March 16 and 17, both declared as non-working holidays in Davao City in celebration of the 80th Araw ng Davao.
The Cleanergy Park, which is biodiversity park is a project of Davao Light and Power Co. and the Aboitiz Foundation, located in Sitio Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya Davao City continues to be a home to various wildlife. The place has become even more special as it has been a nesting ground for Hawksbill Turtles, an endangered species.
