Two 10-minute power interruptions on July 4 in some parts of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 10-minute power interruptions on July 4, Tuesday, affecting customers connected in the southern and northern part of its franchise.


The first power interruption will be necessary to facilitate the normalization of Davao Light’s Davao Line 3. Service disruption will be from 12:01 a.m. to 12:10 a.m. affecting all customers from Talomo bridge up to Bago bridge near URC including internal subdivisions nearby.

The second 15-minute power outage, which will be from 5:00 a.m. to 5:10 a.m., will be implemented to facilitate the corrective maintenance servicing of the Bunawan Substation.

Customers affected by this service disruption are those along highway from Davao Light’s Don Ramon Substation going to Bunawan proper up to Lasang overpass.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
