Davao Light implements power interruptions on November 26 in Panabo and Carmen

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct three power interruptions on November 26, Sunday, affecting customers connected to San Vicente Substation. This is to facilitate transfer load from Davao Light’s mobile transformer to the new 33MVA San Vicente transformer.

The first set of service disruption will be for 15 minutes only, which is from 2:30 AM to 2:45 AM and from 4:45 AM to 5:00 AM.

This will be necessary to transfer the load from the affected substation to nearby lines to avoid longer duration of power interruption.

Specifically affected are customers from San Vicente Substation going to Tadeco road up to Brgy. Tubod including Panabo public market and Paquibato area.

Meanwhile, a 2.5-hour power interruption will be implemented on the same day from 2:30 AM to 5:00 AM affecting customers from from San Vicente Substation going to Panabo wharf and from Sto. Nino Elementary School going to Carmen proper up to Bincungan.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
