Davao Light implements power interruptions on Dec 3 in Tugbok, Dumoy and Toril

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct short power interruptions on December 3, Sunday, affecting customers connected to Tugbok Substation and Toril Substation.


The first set of power interruption will be necessary to facilitate upgrading works at Davao Light’s Tugbok Substation.

 

The first service disruption will be from 12:01 AM to 12:15 AM and from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM affecting customers from crossing Ulas up to Tugbok Proper. The next power interruption will for three hours, from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, affecting customers from Brgy. Lacson up to Buda.

 

Meanwhile, the second set of power interruption will be necessary to facilitate rehabilitation works at Toril Substation.


To avoid longer duration of power outages, load from the affected substation will be transferred to nearby lines from 1:00 AM to 1:15 AM. Normalization of return of load from its original set up will be from 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM.

 

Customers affected by these power outages are from Dumoy, Bago going to Toril proper up to Lubogan.

 

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
