Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 30-minute power interruptions on December 10, Sunday, affecting customers connected to Tugbok Feeders 1 and 2, and Calinan Feeder 2.

These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate installation of metering equipment and substation structures as part of the requirements of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).

To avoid longer duration of power interruption, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines for 30 minutes anytime between 12:01 AM to 1:00 AM. Normalization or return of load back to its original set-up will bebetween 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, still for 30 minutes only.

Specifically affected are customers from Mercury Drug Ulas going to Catalunan Pequeño, Mintal, Tugbok, Calinan up to Buda.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
