Davao Light spreads love; turns over financial support to SOS Children's Village and Boystown Davao on Valentine's Day
Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. and Aboitiz Foundation, celebrated Valentine’s Day with a formal turnover of financial assistance to SOS Children's Village and Welfare Action Foundation of Davao, Inc. also known as Boystown Davao at Davao Light Admin Office in C. Bangoy Sr. Street, Davao City.
Both organizations received Php 100,000.00 as support to their programs for the kids under their care.
Davao Light EVP and COO Rodger S. Velasco handed the checks to Leonilo N. Rivero, SOS Children's Village Director and Rosele R. Solis, Treasurer of Welfare Action Foundation.
Davao Light Community Relations Manager Fermin Edillon, SOS Children's Village Coordinator Roxan Paguyan, and some of their supported children were also present to witness the event.
SOS Children's Village is a private organization providing long-term family-based care and education to children in need. Meanwhile, Boys Town Davao commits to provide basic education for boys who need help allowing them to finish a tertiary course.
