Last September 30, 2019, Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. turned over fifty (50) solar lanterns to the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) to illuminate households of an IP community in Sitio Paraiso, Tapak, Paquibato.
Employee-volunteers of Davao Light and Power Company rolled up their sleeves for a nationwide coastal clean up activity last September 21, 2019. This activity is in celebration of the annual International Coastal Clean Up Day organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in coordination with the different LGUs all over the country.
Davao Light received a recognition for its contribution towards a greener and sustainable City by adopting a permeable pavement design for parking spaces and driveways in its Admin Office in C. Bangoy Sr. Street, Davao City.
The Dabaw Lunhaw Award was given by the City Government of Davao in partnership with Interface Development Interventions (IDIS), Inc., a Davao-based NGO advocating for clean water and healthy watersheds.
