MCNHS receives equipment for module production from Davao Light

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. recognize Mintal Comprehensive National High School (MCNHS) as one of the beneficiaries of the Project Module.

On March 4, 2022, the project’s turnover ceremony was attended by the Education Program Supervisor Head of the Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Davao City, Dr. Marcelo Roco, who ensured that the equipment will be used to their full capacity, "The Division of Davao City is very grateful and we’ll see to it that we’ll help monitor [and ensure] the proper utilization of the items that you gave. The school will be more effective because of these [module production] equipment," Roco said.

The school's principal, Leah Camilotes, also expressed her gratitude for the donation of equipment to aid in the implementation of the Distance Learning Modalities. The school was also a former recipient of an electrical laboratory under Davao Light’s Project e.Lab.

The project includes a photocopying machine, two printers, nine laptops with accessories for online learning and several boxes of office supplies.

The Division of Davao City is hopeful for the reopening of schools in the near future, but as distance learning is still in place, DepEd is grateful for the efforts of their partners, stakeholders, and parents to support the learners. Project Module aims to support DepEd’s distance learning modalities through the materials and equipment for the use of the module production hubs.
