Davao City Public Schools receive equipment for module production from Davao Light

The Sta. Ana Central Elementary School (SACES), which is one of the module production hubs of the Department of Education (DepEd) in Davao City, was chosen as one of the beneficiaries of Project Module by Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) and its social development arm, Aboitiz Foundation, Inc..

The turnover of the equipment was held on March 10, 2022 at the Science Exploration Laboratory of the school, which was previously donated by Davao Light. The event was attended by DepEd XI Regional Director, Dr. Allan Farnazo who said, “It takes a village to raise a child and this is the type of community and nation that we will show [to our children]." Farnazo also expressed that the COVID19 situation has put the educators in very delicate situations. "We work with different interest groups and different sectors, but the bottomline is how we’ll push the good agenda of education for all," Farnazo added.
