Service Disruptions on August 6 and 7 in different areas of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a series of power interruptions on August 6 and 7, affecting customers in different areas of Davao City.




Areas Affected


August 6, 2022 (Saturday)


30 minutes, anytime between 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM

Along Catalunan Grande Road, from Sitio Curvada to Skyline Subdivision, and neighboring areas.

To conduct pole relocation near Skyline Catalunan Grande due to DPWH request.

30 minutes, anytime between 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM

12:00 AM to 6:00 AM (6 hours)

Along Catalunan Grande Road, from Skyline Subdivision Entrance to San Rafael Street Crossing, including Pag-ibig Homes and Ruby Subdivision and neighboring areas.

August 7, 2022 (Sunday)

30 minutes, anytime between 12:00 AM to 1:00 AM

From Tugbok Central Elementary School to Baguio District; including Los Amigos, Riverside, Calinan Proper, Peñano St., Datu Abeng St., Magsaysay St., Malagos, Wangan, Tawan-tawan, Cadalian, Carmen, Baguio Proper, Wines, and neighboring areas and neighboring areas.

To conduct pole relocation activity at Angalan Bridge 2, Tugbok, Davao City due to the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project.

30 minutes, anytime between 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM

12:00 AM to 8:00 AM (8 hours)

Feria Street, Wangan, Tamayong, Cawayan, Subasta, Tagakpan, Upper Sirib, Lower Sirib, Manuel Guingga, Manambulan, Carmen, Cadalian and neighboring areas

De Lara Street,  Talomo River, Biao Joaquin, Talandang, New Valencia, New Carmen, Pangyan and neighboring areas.

5:00 AM to 8:00 AM (3 hours)

Los Amigos, Biao Road, Biao Escuela Tugbok, Biao Guianga, Matina Biao and neighboring areas

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.

Safety is of paramount importance to the company and Davao Light reminds the public to always take extra precautions when passing by activity area/s where line repairs and maintenance are being done. Please heed and follow warning signs, especially in areas where personnel operate heavy equipment.
