15-minute power interruption on March 12 in Downtown, Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a 15-minute power interruption on March 12, Saturday, anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. affecting customers in downtown, Davao City.

This service disruption will be necessary to facilitate the upgrading of Davao Light's Gaisano Substation.

Specifically affected are customers in Arellano Extension near Central Bank, Mt.Apo Street up to Davao Doctors Hospital, part of General Luna up to Limso Hospital, part of Mabini Street up to Circumferential Road up to Brokenshire Hospital, DCWD warehouse (F. Selga Street); including Mother Ignacia Village, Ipil-Ipil Alley at Madapo Hills, Davao Doctors Hospital, Brokenshire Hospital, Limso Hospital, Central Bank and its neighboring areas.

Customers along Guzman Street, from San Pedro Hospital to Holy Cross of Davao College, including San Pedro Hospital will also experience this short disruption. Also affected is Gaisano Mall of Davao as well as customers along J. P. Laurel Avenue from Burger King Bajada to Durian Hotel, and its neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers in the entire Bacaca Road, Circumferential Road - Bacaca Road junction up to back of Davao Light Power Plant, and its neighboring areas as well as customers along Diversion Road from Star Oil near Maa Bridge to Earth Grain Incorporated (near Buhangin underpass), including Montclair Highlands and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
