Service disruptions on January 19 and 20 in different parts of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct three power interruptions on January 19 and 20, Thursday and Friday, affecting customers in different parts of Davao City.

These service disruptions will be necessary to reroute the lines near St. Francis of Assisi Parish for the DPWH Maa Flyover Project.

The first 30-minute power interruption will be conducted anytime between 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on January 19, Thursday. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of loads back to their normal set-up will be for 30 minutes anytime between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on January 20, Friday.

Specifically affected are customers along C.P. Garcia National Highway from Woodlane Maa Entrance to Davao River Bridge, including Woodlane Subdivision, Davao Christian Highschool-CPG, Woodridge Park, Country Side Road, Riverfront Drive, and neighboring areas.

Also affected are customers from Tigatto, Mandug, and Callawa areas; including Panorama Homes, Juliville Subdivision, Victor's Village Tigatto, DDF Village, Deca Homes Tigatto, Callawa, Lapanday Foods, Dona Pilar Rodriguez Elementary School, Mandug Elementary School, Callawa Elementary School, Pablo Lorenzo National High School, Fatima Elementary School, Brgy. Talandang, Sitio Bunggan, Brgy. Lampiano, Prk 4 Brgy. Dalagdag - Calinan District, Palos Verdes Commercial Establishment, and the immediate environs.

Separately, an eight-hour power interruption will be conducted from 10:00 p.m. on January 19, Thursday until 6:00 a.m. on January 20, Friday. This interruption will be experienced by customers along Maa Road from Ulticon Builders to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, and neighboring areas, and those along C.P. Garcia National Highway from Team Davao Firing Range to Woodlane Entrance, and neighboring areas. Also affected are those customers along Magtuod-Tugbok Road from C.P. Garcia Crossing to Carmen Integrated School, including Monteritz Subdivision, Manila Memorial Park, Waan Elementary School, Waan National Highschool, and neighboring areas.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
