When: July 18, 2023 (Tuesday); 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN (4 hrs.)
Customers Affected: Some parts of Buhangin Proper (Gladiola St., San Francisco St., Palm Drive, and Sto. Nino St.).
Reason: To upgrade the lines in the above mentioned areas.
Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct switching power interruptions on July 16, Sunday, affecting customers in the southern part of Davao City. These service disruptions are necessary to conduct 69 kV pole erection at Toril, Sirawan, and Binugao.
To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines for 30 minutes anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 am., while the normalization or return of load back to its normal set-up will also be for 30 minutes anytime between 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 16.
Specifically affected are customers along Saavedra Street, from Carabao Monument Waypark to My Gas Station, including Gaisano Grand Toril and nearby areas.
Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct emergency power interruptions on July 13, Thursday affecting customers in the northern part of the utility’s franchise area.
These power interruptions are necessary to conduct hotspot correction at Davao Light’s metering facility in NGCP Bunawan Substation.
To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines for 30 minutes anytime between 1:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. Meanwhile, the normalization or return of load back to its normal set-up will also be for 30 minutes anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Specifically affected are customers along Mamay Road, from Comus Grill to Crossing Daang Maharlika Highway, and those along Daang Maharlika Highway, from Crossing Mamay Road to Orange Grove Hotel, and neighboring areas.
