10-minute power interruption on September 3 and 4 in some parts of Downtown and Matina
Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 10-minute power interruptions on September 3, Sunday, and September 4, Monday, both anytime between 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM affecting customers in Downtown and some parts of Matina.
These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate the preventive maintenance activity at Davao Light’s Ponciano Reyes Substation.
Specifically affected are customers from Davao Memorial Park going to DepEd Office in Quirino Avenue. This includes areas of Bankerohan, Fr. Selga St., Duterte St., Rizal St., Legazpi St., along Magallanes St. up to Grand Men Seng Hotel and other nearby areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
