30-minute power interruption on October 1 and 2 in some parts of Davao City’s downtown and southern areas

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct a 30-minute power interruption on October 1 and 2, both anytime between 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. affecting customers in some parts of downtown and southern part of its franchise.

These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate the annual preventive maintenance servicing of NGCP-Davao 150 MVA Power Transformer.

 

Customers affected are those in Agdao, portion of Bo. Obrero , Chinatown, San Pedro Square, and Boulevard going to Ecoland, Maa, Matina, Bangkal, Catalunan Grande, Ulas and Puan.

 

Also affected are customers in Catalunan Pequeno, Mintal, Tugbok, Calinan Proper, Baguio District up to Buda area.

 

Meanwhile, DCWD sumps in Bangkal and Tugbok will also be affected by these power interruptions. However, duration of the power interruption in the said dates will be for 10 minutes only.

 

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
