Short power interruptions on February 17, 18 in Tibungco, Bunawan and Toril

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct short power interruptions affecting customers connected to Bunawan Feeders 1 and 2, Tibungco Feeder 1, and Dumoy Feeders 1 and 2.

The first set of power interruption will be on February 17, Sunday, which will be for 30 minutes. This will be necessary to facilitate relocation of poles affected by the DPWH road widening project.

To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines from 12:01 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.. Normalization will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m..

Specifically affected are customers from Dumoy Substation going to Toril proper up to Inawayan including Sirawan, Binugao, and Eden.

Meanwhile, another service disruption will be conducted on February 18, Monday, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:15 a.m.. This will be necessary to facilitate re-energization and loading of Bunawan substation after completing its preventive maintenance works.

Specifically affected are customers from Bottle King in Buhisan up to TF Davao checkpoint in Licanan including Bunawan proper, Mahayag.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
