Short power interruptions on July 21 and 22 in some parts of the northern area of Davao City

Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct 30-minute power interruptions affecting customers in some parts of Davao City North.

Customers from Gaisano City Gate Buhangin going to Cabantian up to Acacia including those in Indangan and Communal will be affected by the service disruption on July 21, Sunday, from 12:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and on July 22, Monday, from 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m..


Meanwhile, customers along diversion road from Airport View Hotel going to Buhangin up to crossing Dumanlas will also be affected by the above-mentioned power outages including the service disruption scheduled on July 21, Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m..


These power interruptions will be necessary to facilitate the preventive maintenance servicing of Davao Light’s Buhangin Substation and line upgrading works.


Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
