Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 30-minute power interruptions on July 26, Friday, affecting customers in the Davao City downtown area.

These service disruptions will be necessary to conduct line upgrading works in the area.

To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected feeders will be transferred to nearby lines anytime between 12:01 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.. Normalization or return of load back to its normal set-up will be on the same day, anytime between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m..

Specifically affected are customers in Governor Duterte Street going to Corner Legaspi Street. This includes customers in Ilustre Street, from Corner San Pedro Street to People's Park.

Also affected are customers in portion of General Luna Street.

Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
