Power rates continue to decrease for April 2023

float:leftThe overall power rate of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. continues to decrease from P11.14 last month to P11.10 this April.

The 0.04 per kilowatt-hour reduction is due to the decrease in the price of power from coal suppliers where Davao Light sources part of its power requirement.

 

Another pawikan turned over at the Aboitiz Cleanergy Park

In time for Earth Day, a female hawksbill sea turtle was turned over to the Aboitiz Cleanergy Park at Sitio Punta Dumalag, Matina Aplaya, Davao City. Found in a fish trap, the floating and weak pawikan was rescued by fisherfolks led by Kagawad Ronel P. Simo in the sea near Purok Libra, Sitio Tambangan, Lasang, Davao City.

Boystown Davao receives annual support from Davao Light

Turnover of annual support to Welfare Action Foundation of Davao City Inc. (Boystown Davao). Davao Light and its social development arm, Aboitiz Foundation Inc., turn over Php 100,000 financial support as well as hygiene materials for the wards under the care of Boystown Davao.
