Red Cross Davao receives financial assistance for its humanitarian programs

Davao Light and Aboitiz Foundation hand over the support to Philippine Red Cross -Davao City Chapter. Davao Light and Power Co. Inc., an AboitizPower subsidiary, and Aboitiz Foundation Inc., hand over Php200,000 financial support to the Philippine Red Cross - Davao City Chapter for their blood program and other humanitarian services. Davao Light’s President and COO Rodger Velasco turned over the support on April 12 to the Red Cross Chairman of the Board, Derrick Tan, and Chapter Administrator Rogelio Aca, Jr. at the Philippine Red Cross Office at Roxas Avenue, Davao City.

SAKADAB members now certified in Dressmaking

It’s graduation season at the Gawad Kalinga community in Los Amigos, Tugbok District, Davao City as 26 members of the Samahan ng may iba't-ibang Kakayahan sa Dabaw (SAKADAB) Consumer Cooperative received their national certification (NCII) in dressmaking this March, after completing the training and passing the assessment conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Region XI.

Power utility ends first quarter with P2.4M donation to TESDA

After two years of online events, Davao Light and Power Co., Inc., an AboitizPower subsidiary, resumes its face-to-face event for its seventh Contractors Appreciation Night. Close to 400 contractors from 20 companies attended the event held at Grand Menseng Hotel, Magallanes Street, Davao City last February.
