Davao Light and Power Company

In a ceremony, AboitizPower Distribution Utilities and Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light), an AboitizPower subsidiary formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the University of Mindanao at Davao Light Admin Office C. Bangoy Sr. Street, Poblacion District, Davao City on November 14, 2023 to strengthen industry-based research and to match the graduates of the academe to the needs of the power industry.

As a testament to Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light)’s contribution and commitment to the development and empowerment of the communities the distribution utility serves, it was awarded the 6th Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Rural Development and Poverty Eradication Leadership Award (RDPELA) for the Philippine private sector.

The overall residential power rate of Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. (Davao Light) has decreased from P9.21 last month to P9.12 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) this November. This translates to P18.98 difference from the previous billing of households whose average monthly electricity consumption is 200 kWh. This rate applies to bills received from November 11 to December 11, 2023.
